Could this put a dent in global warming?
You may have heard of the “snowball earth” theory…apparently the earth was once covered in snow and ice. Because of the energy that this reflects, it is impossible for the earth to recover, it is sort of a runaway effect…they figure that volcanic carbon dioxide fixed this problem, the snow absorbs less of what is naturally released than liquid water does, and this led to global warming and the earth eventually recovered. If every house in the world with a black roof replaced it with a white roof, would this come close to putting a dent in global warming?
That is a good idea, it would sure help your summer heating bills but not so good in winter. I am sure the global warming nuts would rather see you with out a job, and no industry in your town first, rather than come up with a simple non tech solution. They want you to pay someone in African for their unused energy credits. They are all a bunch of nuts. Then should go and hug a tree, one that has a lion behind it. Smile
