file record segment XXXXXXX is unreadable?
I currently own an Alienware m17-R1 and I have been having consultant problems with it. Every problem was solved until now… I had this thing called Vista internet security (not 100% sure on the name) popping up annoyingly so I went to google and did one of the things I was told to do to remove it. But it told me to restart my computer after completing the steps and now that I did that, my computer keeps going through startup and then a blue screen saying “crash dump” (again not sure if thats exactly what it said) and it now wants to scan the disc. So I let it do that, and now its been going through thus far 11453 files and they are all “unreadable”. every now and then something will pop up saying it deleted some file because it was corrupt. What do I do? its been going on for 13 hours now and Its really annoying. do I let it continue through every file in my computer? or what do I do?
Stop the scannig and then scan your PC with Superantispyware free edition.

If you still have problems then I would suggest going to http://bleepingcomputer.com and run a hijack this log and let one of the professionals there look at your log and they will be able to tell what software to use to get your comp. back in shape.
