Floating Aquarium Particles!!! HELP!!?
I have a 46 gallon bowfront and my tank has been running for maybe 9 months. I have added Cycle and everything. But now I have these real real fine particles in the water and its stressing my fich out cause it gets in the gills and then they start flashing until they get it clear. I do my water changes and I have 2 filters. One is the imagine bio 55 gal filter and then I got a aqueon 20 filter just to help out. Would this product help out or should I get some of those water clear chemicals from petsmart. Do they really work? What should I do cause I dont want my Rams stressed out

Are getting spill over in your filters? By spill over, I mean water flowing over your filter media as well or instead of through the media. If so, rinse the pads in some used tank water(or fresh dechlorinated water) That should get rid of the clogging that causes spill over without killing off your beneficial bacteria.
If that’s not the problem, try a sponge filter. They’re cheap and do a dandy job of water “polishing”. 24 hours use of one should get rid of all the particulates. If you don’t like the look of one, just use it for water polishing when you get particulates and then take it out. Or hide them with decorations like I do.
I don’t use or recommend any chemicals besides dechlorinator. As far as ones I and people I know have tried, most do not work as described, or they have unwanted side effects. No magic pills.
