How slow has light been “slowed” down to?
I know that light travels slower through certain medium such as crystals and glass.
How slow have they been able to slow light down to?
Light hits a medium and gets diffracted or refracted at an angle and when light passes through a “denser” medium, the light *appears* to slow down but is actually traveling at a constant speed of c = 3*10^8 m/s.
