How can I remove the startup and bios passwords on a Toshiba Satellite 1105?
I changed the passwords to blank and they no longer work. I have tried the parallel loopback dongle to no avail. I also tried every backdoor password and booting from a floppy and flashing the bios, but it won’t let me boot from a floppy instead it asks for password. These laptops have a special eprom security chip, that saves the password even when the bios battery is removed so that simple solution won’t work. I can’t send it to Toshiba because I bought it second hand from a Good Will Community Foundation Store. Can someone help me before I pull all of my hair out. Thanks in advance,
Corey
